This project provides a new 3,000 SF family house on a corner lot in Hermosa Beach. The previous house was home to brothers Greg Ginn and Ray Pettibon, who founded the punk band Black Flag in 1979. In acknowledgement of this, the house assumes the form of shifting black rectangles, reminiscent of the infamous band logo designed by Pettibon.
