A fire rebuild located by Malibu Lake, this small house uses the rubble of the original house to form a gabion plinth, raising the home to provide views above the tree canopy.

The house is oriented to direct views of nearby Sugar Loaf from the Entrance, Living Room, Master Bedroom and veranda.
